Military Wedding in Jacksonville Beach at Casa Marina Hotel

Every time I walk out of a wedding, I look back through the pictures and think “Damn, this is the best wedding I’ve shot so far!”, Ellen & Ryan are no exception to that rule.

& that’s because the Ryan was 45 minutes late (no, seriously…) & we still managed to get awesome pictures of Ryan getting ready, him & his groomsmen goofing off, & a PERFECT first look all before the ceremony!

* You may be thinking… “well, it just sounds like you did your job” & you would be correct, but when a groom shows up late- let alone 45 minutes late- it’ll throw your entire day off if you aren’t speedy AF.*

Let’s talk about this first look.

Ryan was so nervous waiting for Ellen to come out of Casa Marina and give him a tap on the shoulder, that when she did, he looked at me and asked “Am I allowed to turn around?”

I replied with a loud “HAHA, yes! Please do!”

After the first look we made our way to the beach with the most dreamy sky for some bridal portraits. As soon as we stepped off the walkway over the dunes there was an entire group of Navy Trainee’s ready to give Ryan (a Navy man himself) & Ellen a big, warm, CONGRATULATIONS!

We then created the most beautiful bridal portraits & I’m obsessed!!!

Then it was time to have Ellen walk down & she looked perfect.

*couples this year have been doing a thing where they kiss again at the end of the aisle and I’m LIVING for it! It’s so sweet & all the guests are looking & I just love it*

Ryan & Ellen have a connection that is undeniable and it was a honor to capture their wedding day to view the full gallery, please click HERE.
